the 50th meeting of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) is being held in Rome
The 50th Session of CFS taking place in Rome from 10-13 October 2022 discussing the state of Food security and Nutrition. Ethiopian delegations participating in the Committee meeting presented the efforts of the government small scale irrigation to wheat production in seeking for food self-sufficiency. In its four-days discussion, the Committee deals with the state of food security, women’s empowerment and gender equality, youth engagement in sustainable agri-food system and policy alignment of stakeholders to resolve the world food crisis.
