Her Excellency Ambassador Demitu Hambisa held discussion with a delegation led by Dr. Stefanos Fotiou, the Director of the Sustainable Development Goals Office at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
During the discussion, they exchanged views on the preparatory work required to successfully host the UN Food Systems Summit (UNFSS+4), which will be held in Addis Ababa from July 28–30, 2025, in collaboration with our country.
Both sides agreed to form a joint committee to carry out the preparatory work.
ክብርት አምባሳደር ደሚቱ ሀምቢሳ በዓለም አቀፍ የምግብ ፕሮግራም (FAO) የዘላቂ ልማት ግቦች ጽ/ቤት ዳይሬክተር ከሆኑት ዶ/ር ፎቲኦ ስቴፋኖስ ከተመራ ልኡካ ጋር ተወያይተዋል።
በወቅቱም ከጁላይ 28 -30 2025 የዓለም አቀፍ የምግብ ፕሮግራም ከሀገራችን ጋር በመተባባር በአዲስ አበባ የሚያካሂደውን የUN Food System Summit (UNFSS+4) በተሳካ ሁኔታ ለማካሄድ በሚያስችሉ የቅድመ ዝግጅት ስራዎችን አስመልክቶ ሀሳብ ተለዋውጠዋል።
በቀጣይም ሁለቱንም ወገን ያካተተ የጋራ ኮሚቴ በመዋቀር የቅድመ ዝግት ስራዎችን በጋራ ለመስራት ከመግባባት ደርሰዋል።
