H.E. Ambassador Demitu Hambisa confers with H.E Thessalia Salina Shambos, Director General for Middle East, Gulf and Africa Affairs at the republic of Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the discussion, the two sides discussed areas of cooperation to strengthen the long-existing bilateral relationship between the two countries. The two parties agreed to cooperate on the areas of trade, investment, tourism and agriculture. The two sides also agreed to cooperate on different international forums.
During the occasion, H.E. Ambassador Demitu Hambisa explained the efforts of the government toward creating sustainable peace and development in the Country and the efforts of the government for the provision of unreserved humanitarian assistance for the affected areas, the accountability of human rights violations and the status of the National dialogue in the country.
H.E Thessalia Salina Shambos, on her part, appreciated the efforts of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia especially on the works to provide humanitarian assistance to the affected areas, the investigation of human rights violations and the efforts for the inclusive national dialogue.
