Today September 8, 2022, H.E. Ambassador Demitu Hambisa Presented Her letter of Credence to H.E. Borut Pahor, President of the Republic of Slovenia.
During the occasion, H.E. Ambassador Demitu Hambisa, expressed commitment towards strengthening the existing good relationship between the two countries. The Ambassador Also expressed the interest of the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to deepen the long existing bilateral relationship.
H.E. Ambassador Demitu Hambisa explained the current situation in Ethiopia, especially in the Northern part of the Ethiopia and the commitment of the Government of Ethiopia towards peaceful resolution of conflicts. The Ambassador also explained that from the TPLF side there is no interest for peaceful resolution and they keep attacking the neighboring regions, recruiting children for military, looting humanitarian aid.
H.E. Borut Pahor on his part mentioned that he is following the situation in Ethiopia closely and expressed wish that the government of Ethiopia be successful in Achieving lasting peace.
