ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ ዛሬ ረፋድ ላይ በፓላዞ ቺጊ ቤተ መንግሥት በጣልያን ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ጆርጂያ ሜሎኒ አቀባበል ተደርጎላቸዋል። ሁለቱ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሮች ከልዑካቸው ጋር በመሆን በሁለቱ ሀገራት ትብብር እና በተለያዩ ጉዳዮች ላይ ተወያይተዋል። ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ እና ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ጆርጂያ ሜሎኒ የ180 ሚሊዮን ዩሮ የገንዘብ ድጋፍ የያዘውን ‘የ2023-2025 የኢትዮጵያ እና የጣልያን የትብብር ማሕቀፍ’ ስምምነት ተፈራርመዋል። የፋይናንስ ስምምነቱ በኢኮኖሚ ልማት፤ በተለይ በግብርና እና በኢንዱስትሪ ዘርፎች እና በጤና እና በትምህርት መሠረታዊ አገልግሎት አቅርቦት፣ ቁልፍ በሆኑ ተግባራት ላይ የሚውል ይሆናል። ሁለቱ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሮችም ትብብራቸውን የበለጠ ለማጠናከር ያላቸውን ቁርጠኝነትን በመግለጽ በጋራ በሰጡት ጋዜጣዊ መግለጫ ስብሰባቸውን አጠናቀዋል።
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed was welcomed officially by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at Palazzo Chigi earlier today. During a working lunch, the two Prime Ministers accompanied by their delegation discussed the various facets of Ethio-Italian cooperation and partnership. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni also signed the ‘Ethiopian-Italian Cooperation Framework 2023-2025 agreement which contains a financial commitment amounting to 180mil euros. The financial commitment of both soft loans and grants will be applied towards key activities within the scope of economic development and job creation within the agriculture and industry sectors and basic services delivery in health and education. The two concluded their engagement in a joint press statement by expressing renewed commitment to strengthened partnerships.
